i'm not really able to verbalize the assorted emotions that rush over me as i look at these pictures. they hold so much truth and reality, both beautiful and horrific. it's not my reality and i can go so untouched by all this, although i hope not to.

among all the emotions, i've been inspired. these images can be imprinted on my mind as i trudge through books of information and attempt to learn it and know it and understand it all, with a hope that one day i can, in some way for some time, be apart of that reality; helping, touching, healing, loving, providing.

art, what a beautiful (at times dreadful) way of changing and impacting lives

Thanks for revealing this website to us. I pondered each picture as I looked at them and am very moved. What I hate most is this feeling tends to pass when we wake up the next day and go to work, get our latte, eat our over-portioned dinners and sleep with a warm comforter around us.
Its good to be reminded.
The pictures left me unsettled. I think thats a good thing....
