Do you ever get bored with your face? I get bored with my face.
I get bored with looking at the same person in the mirror all the time. Sometimes I make faces in the mirror just to spice things up a little. But it inevitably and irresistibly returns to the same old slack expression that was looking at me not 30 seconds earlier.
And to address the screaming truth, yes, this is a weird post.
Again, sorry if you were expecting more.

I actually think everyone does that. Or else it's just you and me. When I was little I always wished I could switch heads like the evil queen in Return to Oz. Sometimes I still do.
back from hibernation huh? i'm glad it didn't die..but don't sleep this long again ok?
I just might have the perfect solution to facial boredom...on bad ass mother of a scarf, burnt orange, purl knit, and just a tad too short....
Kate- I'm beginning to wonder if the only thing that needs to be added to that scarf are ruffles. It may just be the right length. We'll see after today I guess.
Erin- I'm wondering if your "addiction" to costumes is driven by your desire to mix things up. I mean is it really coincidence that you're having a mask party in the next few weeks?
hi-larious! love it! So glad you're back, Nathan!

I 'spose you're right. Although if I had to guess, I'd say a love of dressing up is a) a typically girly love of beautiful things, b) a desire to be someone else for a day, and c) an unabashed desire for attention. Guilty as charged. :P
